“Entrepreneurship is neither a science nor an art, it is a practice”
Peter Drucker
Pre-incubation program: “Seedlings”
Our pre-incubation program “Seedlings” is a customized, basic foundation experience catering to aspiring entrepreneurs. At this stage, typically, the TRL level of the innovation is 3 or below and the idea needs to be refined as per techno-commercial feasibility.
This program involves an assessment of the missing gaps, evaluation of the market potential, and development of the business model, IPR protection or licensing strategy, building the right team, estimating the funding requirement and sources.
At the end of the three month program, the entrepreneur has a well defined road map and clarity on the decision to formally register a startup entity, or to pivot the business model.
Early incubation program: “Saplings”
Our early incubation program “Saplings” caters to the needs of young startups in their growth phase.
Typically, at this stage the startup team comprises of founders, working on their ideas at TRL level of 2 to 4, and while they are quite good at exploring potential new opportunities, they lack the means to scale up and gain market traction.
Our program which runs for 1.5 to 2 years spans across the market validation stage and the Minimum Lovable Product (MLP), while also providing necessary help and connects for funding opportunities, and access to seed funding resources.
Advanced incubation program:
“Green Shoots”
Our advanced incubation program “Green Shoots” is designed for mature startups, who have successfully crossed the early TRL levels, in order to scale up and grow as they strengthen their product-market fit and create sustainable and investible business enterprises.
We provide the necessary support and connects based on specific requirements of the startups, such as building market traction, connects for regulatory approvals, opportunities for pitching with angel investors and VCs.
Virtual incubation
AIC-SEED’s virtual incubation program allows access to aspiring entrepreneurs across the country, overcoming geographical limitations.
This three month long flexible program is customized to meet the requirements of young startups through hand-holding and mentoring sessions.
The outcome of the program are specific deliverables which are mutually discussed and agreed to, upfront.
