Shweta leads AIC-SEED’s efforts in creating and nurturing deep science based startups.

Shweta has over twenty five years of experience, including entrepreneurial experience in the private corporate sector as well as publically funded R&D organizations in India.

She has been working at the interface of technology and businesses to identify market opportunities in highly knowledge intensive areas. Her previous organizations include: National Chemical Laboratory, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, CSIR-Tech Pvt. Ltd., Satyam Computers and Thermax Ltd. She is an entrepreneur herself, being the founder at iTheme Consulting Pvt. Ltd.

She holds degrees in B.Tech (Chemical Engineering), MBA (Finance) and PG Diploma in Patents Law. She is also a registered Patent Agent, and is a recognized IP facilitator by the Govt. of India for the Start Up India initiative. She has helped several inventors from academic institutes, R&D labs and private companies to create value from their innovative ideas.
